Protests and rallies are taking place across the country against the US aid project Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement. Meanwhile, a four-party joint protest rally was held in Tansen on Sunday with the slogan 'Let's repeal the treacherous MCC agreement'. The protest rally turned into a corner rally on the platform of Tundikhel chanting slogans like 'No need for MCC', 'No sale of the country' and 'Reject treasonous decision'.

Speaking on the occasion, Rastriya Janamorcha Palpa Chairman Vishal Darlami said that the MCC agreement was treasonous and should not be passed under any circumstances. Darlami also said that the US was trying to enter Nepal in the name of MCC as a poison and the government was trying to bring MCC due to lack of money. Chief Guest Anil Kishor Ghimire, Central President of All Nepal Youth Association, Guest Bhuvan GC Secretary Communist Party of Nepal Palpa, Guest Tika Rana in-charge CPN-Revolutionary Maoist Palpa, Guest Dhanraj Poudel, Chairman CPN-Malay Palpa and others spoke about the problems Nepal will face in the future.
