Three persons were arrested in connection with the murder of a spiritual healer (Dhami) in Rautahat.The body of 50-year-old Rohini Prasad Ghorasaini of Chandrapur Municipality, who had been working as a spiritual healer, was found hanging from a tree in Kalapani Community Forest in Gaindatar on September 11. Police arrested Surya Bahadur Bhandari of Nawalparasi East, Chandra Municipality, Pralhad Phuyal of Gaindatar and Ramesh Pahari of Parsagadhi Municipality of Parsa for investigation.
Police initially arrested Ramesh Pahari, 24, of Parsa and two others were arrested on the basis of his statement. According to Rautahat Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire, the incident took place at the behest of Dol Prasad Bolkhe alias Sahadev. According to Ghimire, a preliminary investigation has shown that Bolkhe's killed Ghorasaini accusing him of the illness of his family members. The accused also paid Rs 300,000 for the murder of Ghorasaini.
Police arrested Dil Prasad Bolkhe also known as Sahadev on September 27, on the charge of murdering and being a prime planner of the murder of Rohini Prasad Ghorasaini. was found hanging from a tree in Kalapani Community Forest in Gaindatar on September 11. Police arrested 3 suspect in the during the investigation where as Dil Prasad Bolkhe fled the scene and was in search by the police.
