Police arrested Ashok Nath and Mahesh Nath, the accused of the murder of 30-year-old Bijaya Bhaat of Dashrathchand Municipality-5, Damarkholi. Bijaya died on September 28 while undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadi. It was initially reported that Bijay fell off the cliff in Kaluwamod on September 10 while returning back to his home from Gothlapani with friends.
However, the police arrested two of the accused after the deceased father Birsingh Bhaat lodged complain against Ashok Nath, Mahesh Nath, Laxman Nath and Rajendra Nath. Two others are still absconding. The father claimed his son was murdered stating that there is a difference in explanation from the deceased friends who were with his son while the incident happened.
