Two factions of Nepali Congress faced off against each other in Dadeldhura on October 3 leaving 6 party members injured. The district chairperson Karna Malla, whose panel had organized the mass assembly blamed the party members of Deuba faction as responsible for triggering the clash by trying to disrupt the program that was attended by central members of Nepali Congress; Arjun Narsingh KC, Dr. Sheljar Koirala and Gururaj Ghimire. The ward and municipal convention happened in Dadeldhura despite the protest from Malla Panel, which has increased intra-party conflict in the district.
