Indian Smuggler physically assaulted Sudip Sunar, armed police force deployed in Kanchanpur border, Dodharachadani municipality-8 Sundarnagar. The smugglers came along with their family to assault the armed police when he was alone, while on duty for not letting them smuggle illegal goods. Due to the open border in Dodhara Chadni Municipality, there is still a lack of manpower of the Armed Police Force to keep the security forces tight at the border. The smugglers have been taking advantage of the fact that a young man has been forced to be on duty in some places for the security of the border. The locals have become panic-stricken after the armed police personnel deployed for the security of the border were beaten while on duty. The locals are feeling that they are not safe, have demanded immediate arrest and action against the perpetrators.
