Police arrested Bijaya Aauji, a 22-year-old youth of Sanfebagar municipality-3, Siddeshwor on the charge of attempting to murder Shailja Aauji, a 21-year-old girl of Sanfebagar municipality-6, Bhageshwori. The victim's side accused Bijaya Aauji of attempting murder on their daughter on October 9, because the victim refused to get married. The victim sustained serious injuries in her neck and shoulder due to the Khukuri attack. According to the police, the victim lodged a complaint on October 10, and the accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
