Jayaram Poudel, chief of the finance management division of the Pokhara Metropolitan City, had lodged a complaint with the Kaski police on October 20 after Narayan Sharma, a legal officer of the same office, threatened to kill him. However, he alleges that the  District Police Office, Kaski has not agreed to register the complaint even after 3-4 days.

Narayan Sharma had threatened the  Jayaram Poudel during a discussion on legal practitioner Kamal Prasad Aryal in the office of the chief administrative officer of the corporation, Mahesh Baral. During the discussion, Poudel was threatened that he would be killed if he did not pay the amount. Chief of the Finance Division Poudel had filed a petition in the office on the same day asking for legal action against Sharma. But so far, the accounting staff has been agitating as the process of action has not moved forward. Twelve accounting staff handed over a memorandum to Mahesh Baral, chief administrative officer of the corporation, demanding immediate action against the culprit.
