Police arrested Asok Yadav, a resident of Gauripur in Arnama Rural Municipality-4 on October 30 after receiving information that three persons including Yadav had beaten up a 22-year-old woman over a land dispute. The injured woman is undergoing treatment at Siraha District Hospital. Police are searching for the two absconders involved in the beating and are conducting further investigation in this regard.
