Gulmi/ August 7 A complaint of polygamy against Laxman Gharti, 27, of Chapahile VDC-7 lodged by Geeta Gharti, 21, on July 28 has been settled at District Police Office. He was accused of marrying Dil Maya Khatri, 22, of the same place as he second wife. The accused was arrested by the police on August 4 in Bhairahawa while he was trying to flee to India. The case was settled based on victim's consent after he agreed to provide support to her and her son without any discrimination, said District Police Office. The victim who has been living at her parents’ home with her new born baby said that the case has been settled with financial agreement and partition of property. N
