A clash erupted between the two parties at the Legislative Assembly of the Central Committee of the Nepal Red Cross Society. The two sides clashed during the assembly session at Karki Backwat in Baber Mahal. A member of the current working committee said that the convention was suspended indefinitely after the clash.

Dissatisfaction had increased after the dissolution of the working committees of 16 districts. Dissidents have been protesting in the program hall since November 14. Police had to intervene after the clash between the two sides. The situation is now normal, police said.
