Sunsari: Police have arrested two persons from Sampang Chowk, Dharan-8 on the charge of throwing stones at a vehicle with an Indian number plate.

Two persons had hurled stones at a car with Indian number plate returning to Itahari after visiting various temples in Dharan.

Police said that they have conducted further investigation saying that he may have been a cadre of Netra Bikram Chand group.

It is learned that some of them may have gone on strike during the strike called by some groups on Tuesday. According to Hemraj Oli, Inspector of Police, Area Police Office, Dharan, the two youths had broken the window pane of the Indian vehicle. Police said that the vehicle had returned to Itahari.
