Six injured in the clash between NCP cadres in Sarlahi

A clash broke out between the two parties in Malangwa of Sarlahi district over the issue of the General Convention. Six people were injured including a state minister during the clash. For the general convention of the Nepali Congress Party, work is being done at the local, state, and constituency level and district level. The convention was adjourned after an election official resigned on November 13, due to internal disputes. 

Minister for Women, Children, Youth and Sports Birendra Singh of State 2 has also been physically assaulted in the dispute over the General Convention in Malangwa. Other programs related to Sarlahi's convention have become more uncertain due to the incident. On the other hand, Nagendra Kumar Roy of the other party has claimed that some people surrounded and physically assaulted the election official while the issue of deploying a polling officer for the ward convention was being discussed. 

District president Nagendra Kumar Rai is considered close to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and former president Laxman Roy is considered close to senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel. Both are claimants of the party president in Sarlahi. Popular youth leader Dr Sarlahi. Amaresh Kumar Singh and State Minister Singh are seen as rivals. Due to this, disputes have increased in the district.
