Krishna Devi Rawal, a 77-year-old man of Kedarsyu rural municipality-2, died in police custody on November 20. According to the police, Rawal, died on the way to the hospital in Simkhet, because he fainted in a detention cell while he was drinking tea. Rawal and his son Jaya Bahadur Rawal, have been in police custody since November 6, on the case of murder. 

Dhaula Devi Rawal,  28-year-old wife of , Jaya Bahadur Rawal, committed suicide on October 24,  and Rawal's in-laws lodged the complaint against him and his mother on October 24, claiming they murdered Dhaula Devi Rawal.
