Two persons have been injured in Solukhumbu when their own father attacked them with acid. Mohan Baraili, 55, of Soludhudhkund Municipality-5 attacked his 25-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter with acid on Monday evening, injuring them. Although the daughter was slightly injured in the incident, the condition of the son is critical.
Both the injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Phaplu, said Rishi Raj Dhakal, Inspector at the District Police Office, Solukhumbu. Police Inspector Dhakal said that an investigation has been started into the incident after taking the accused under control. This is the first case of acid attack in the district.
