Dissatisfied cadres of Nepali Congress staged a demonstration in Dadeldhura on Monday citing that the Seventh District Convention of the party was organized in an illegal manner. Nepali Congress had organized the district convention in Dadeldhura, the home district of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Monday.

Bhim Bahadur Saud, Mayor of Parashuram Municipality, was elected the district president of the convention. Cadres close to acting president Karna Bahadur Malla took out a motorcycle rally in district headquarter on Tuesday as a protest.
