Police arrested Padam Bahadur Newar also known as Prakash of Umakunda rural municipality-7, on November 22, on the charge of sexually assaulting 5-year-old and 8-year-old minor girls on November 19. According to the victim's side, the 8-year-old victim was sexually assaulted when she tried to stop the sexual assault on a 5-year-old by the accused. According to the police, the accused absconded after the victims started screaming. The accused was arrested from Umakunda-7, Bhuji's Lahure area.
