Police arrested two women in Salyan on November 27 on the charge of murdering their 30-year-old brother-in-law Sher Bahadur Chand of Sarada Municipality-5. The accused are the deceased's own  26-year-old sister-in-law Laxmi and 25-year-old neighbor Radha Poudel. 

The locals found the dead body in half incinerated condition at a stack of bamboo trees near his home. The initial investigation pointed towards murder followed by arson, as the blood marks are found in the deceased home, says DSP of District Police Office Sumit Khadka. Chand returned from foreign employment last February and his wife lived at her parents' home. The husband of the accused Laxmi is in foreign employment and the parents lived at Kohlapur, leaving only Sher Bahadur and Laxmi living at the house.
