A 22-year-old woman lodged the complaint against Sanjaya Paswan, a 32-year-old man of Pachrauta municipality-7, on November 14, on the charge of attempted rape. According to the complaint, the accused attempted to rape the victim on November 25. The family of the victim claimed that when the victim went to lodge the complaint on the charge of attempted rape, she was physically and verbally assaulted. The victim was examined at Kalaiya Hospital on November 30.
