Protesters vandalize truck in Narayangarh protesting against MCC

Protesters demanding the abolition of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) vandalized a truck plate number (Bagmati Pradesh 03-001 Kha 1312) in Narayangarh in Chitwan heading towards New Road on December 14. Police said that the glass of the truck was broken due to the stone-pelting.
Police arrested nine protestors who were enforcing general strike in Chitwan. Security has been mobilized in large numbers to prevent vandalism and other activities in the Narayangarh market area. There are 13 parties including Madhav Kumar-led CPN (Unified Socialist), Biplav-led CPN-Maoist, Rashtriya Janamorcha, CPN-Masal, CPN-Malay, Mohan Vaidya and Rishi Kattel's CPN, Trimul, Janarokar Manch and others.
