Netra Bikram Chand-Biplav led CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Makwanpur, CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Makwanpur, CPN (Masal Makwanpur), Deshbhakta Janaganatantrik Morcha Makwanpur and Rastriya Janasarokar Manch Nepal Makwanpur staged a demonstration in Simachok of Hetauda demanding to repeal MCC (Millennium Challenge Corporation). The demonstrators displayed placards against the government.

The demonstration was addressed by Nayan, in-charge of Biplav Makwanpur and Sagar, in-charge of CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Makwanpur.He said the MCC was not in the national interest and urged the government to withdraw the MCC. He also warned that if the MCC agreement process is taken forward by the government, they'd stage further demonstrations.
