Saptari woman found murdered

A woman has been found murdered in Chhinnamasta rural municipality-1 of the Saptari district on Monday morning (December 26). Police say Bhutani Devi Yadav (50) of the area was missing since Sunday evening. However, she was found dead today. DSP Madhav Prasad Kaphle, the spokesperson of the District Police Office, says preliminary investigations suggest the woman was attacked with a beer bottle on her head. Further investigation is underway. Police say they have also mobilized sniffer dogs.
