Janamat Party cadres vandalize government vehicle in Janakpur, Mayor injured

Cadres of the Janamat Party led by CK Raut have vandalized the vehicle of the mayor of Hariwan Municipality of Sarlahi in Janakpur. Meanwhile, Mayor Ganesh Prasai has been injured. Mayor Ganesh Prasai and Deputy Mayor Renuka Poudel were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. They were coming to Janakpurdham to cast their votes in the National Assembly election.
At the same time, CK Raut's cadres broke the glass of the vehicle in Janakpur-4. Mayor Prasai sustained an injury on his tample in the incident. Janamat Party cadres have been protesting at various places in Janakpurdham since this morning. Police charged batons and fired tear gases when they tried to enter the polling of the National Assembly election. Since then, there have been frequent clashes between police and protesters. Janamat Party cadres had protested this morning by burning tires at various places in Janakpur demanding 'give fertilizer first and cast your vote'.
