Kathmandu, Daijo nihuma mahila lai gharnikala. Krishna Tamang, 31, of Shesh Narayan VDC-3 has forced his wife Kamala Tamang, 25, out of house on August 14 on charge of bringing less dowry. Krishna also took away her daughter from her. The victim sustained injuries to her chest, stomach, head and face and her husband Krishna attacked her with beer bottle. She is undergoing treatment at local health clinic. According to the victim, Krishna used to beat her daily on charge of bringing less dowry and threatened to force her out of house. She has filed a complaint at the Women and Child Service Centre Kalimati under the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu on August 15. Inspector Sushila Pradhan of the WCSC said that the Area Police Office Pharping was asked to arrest the accused. The victim is staying at her paternal home in Talku Dudhechaur VDC in Kathmandu.
