The District Court has slapped three month imprisonment and Rs 5 thousand fine to Gangai Yadav, 45, of Tulsipur VDC-3 on charge of assaulting Prem Shila Yadav, 40, of same place on charge of being witch. Judge Binod Kumar Pokharel also fined Rs 10,000 each to Binod Yadav, 18, and Durga Devi Yadav, 40, in the same incident. Prem Shila was assaulted by them on March 25, 2014 on charge of practicing witchcraft. She had filed a complaint against them at the District Police Office on March 28.
