Kamala River sweeps away two in Sindhuli

SINDHULIMADHI, Kamala khola le dui jana bagaye. The Kamala River on Thursday swept away two persons including a pregnant woman and a child from Kamalamai Municipality-13 of Sindhuli. The two others, however, succeeded to come out of the River safely. The 22-year-old Prem Maya Aale of Kamalamai-15 and Kabita Bhujel (12) from Gauribas, Mahottari were swept away by the River this afternoon. The pregnant Aale was swamped by the River while she was heading toward a health post for regular check-up. Bhujel, likewise, was returning from her sister's house. A local, Krishna Hari Ghimire said both bodies were recovered from some metres down in the River. Nabin Bhujel and Lilamaya Bhujel, however, succeeded to get out of the River. They are admitted at the local Bhiman Health Post.
