10 people were injured during a clash between leaders and cadres of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) in Dhanusha over a dispute related to nomination of party candidate for the local level election being held at May 13.

According to JSP Dhanusha, 10 leaders and cadres including central executive member of JSP Gajadhar Rohita Yadav, provincial vice president of JSP's student wing Bikas Yadav, were injured in the clash at Rajdurbar hotel of Janakpur. 

According to the source, supporters of Rambabu Yadav, incumbent mayor of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality of Dhanusha, Ram Narayan Kapari, and Barun Yadav had started pressing leaders at the meeting since early morning demanding their nomination for candidacy for the Mayor of Charnath Municipality, Hansapur Municipality and Shahid Nagar Municipality respectively.

The supporters who were angered after the meeting attended by central leaders of JSP Renu Kumari Yadav, JSP head of Madhesh Province Ram Babu Kumar Yadav, and Gajadhar Rohita Yadav decided to nominate others for these candidacy resorted to clash in the meeting. Irate youth cadres assaulted Gajadhar Yadav.
