Cadres of CPN-UML padlocked the party's election campaign office in Mahottari on April 25 expressing their dissatisfaction over the candidature of the local level election. The demonstrators claimed that the party gave the candidature to those who used to criticize the party's leadership.
Kamal Poudel, a local UML cadre, alleged that they padlocked demanding information about the criteria of the ticket distribution process and the shortcomings of those who did not get tickets among those recommended by the local committee.
