Cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML clashed in Duhabi municipality-9, of Sunsari on May 6, during the election campaign. According to the police, the dispute between the party started when CPN-UML'S ward chairperson's candidate, Tajib Husenn played loud music in a music sound system during his election campaign around the house of Mehadi Hussain, a ward chairperson's candidate for Nepali congress. The clash broke when the agitated cadres of the Nepali Congress vandalized the vehicle carrying the music system.
