Four cadres of Nepali Congress were injured in a clash between CPN (Maoist Center) and Nepali Congress cadres in Rukum West of Banfikot rural municipality-3 on May 10.  The injured have been identified as Surya Prakash Malla, ward chairperson of Nepali congress, Mitra Lal Oli, Rakesh KC and Hup Jung Bohara, according to to DSP Bishnu Prashad Soti of District Police Office Rukum West. District leaders of the two parties had earlier issued a joint appeal to exercise restrain due to growing incidents of clash between Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) in the district.
