Six injured in a clash between cadres of CPN-UML and Nepali Congress in Surkhet during election campaign

Six people were injured in a clash between CPN-UML and Nepali Congress in Simta rural municipality-6 of Surkhet on May 10 night. Two cadres of CPN-UML Sunil BK, 36, and Indra BK, 24, and four police officers were injured during the clash. The injured are undergoing treatment in Nepalgunj.
According to the spokesperson of District Police Office Surkhet, DSP Ram Prasad Gharti, the police were injured when UML cadres attacked them while mediating the incident.
