Local cadres of Nepali Congress locked Maya Bhattarai, wife of Baburam Bhattarai, CPN-UML's mayoral candidate for Butwal sub-metropolis of Rupandehi at the house of Srijana Bhusal in slum area of Butwal-11, on May 11. The cadres of Nepali Congress alleged that Mrs. Bhattarai distributed money to influence the local election in favour of her husband. The cadres of Nepali Congress chanted slogans against Mrs. Bhattarai.
