Thirteen cadres of CPN-UML injured in a khukuri attack in Dhading

Thirteen cadres of CPN-UML were injured in an attack with sharp weapons by a group on May 10 while the UML cadres were on door-to-door election campaign. Cadres of CPN-UML Hari Shrestha, 25, Ram Sharan Shrestha,26, and Lok Bahadur BK, 35, of Triburasundari rural municipality-1 sustained serious injury whereas other ten sustained minor injuries according to Bhumi Tripathi, CPN-UML's Dhading chairperson. CPN-UML Dhading released press statement demanding legal action against those responsible for the attack. UML has accused Nepali Congress cadres of the attack under the order of ward Congress ward chairperson candidate Bhim Prashad Bhatta.
