Eight people were injured in a clash between cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML in Godawari rural municipality-6 of Kailali on May 11. Jagguram Chaudhary a CPN-UML candidate for ward chairperson, Chaudhary's brother Bintiram Chaudhary and Bintiram's wife were injured in the clash. Binitram was reportedly attacked with sharp weapon on his hand. Five others also sustained injury in the clash. According to locals Nepali Congress cadres attacked the UML cadres for entering the village at night.
