Yam Bahadur Karki (Bhupal) a CPN (Maoist Center) candidate for ward chairperson of Gokulganga rural municipality-3 in Ramechhap, CPN (Maoist Center) cadres Roshan Karki, Bikram Karki, and Rudra Bhujel were injured in an attack by cadres of CPN-UML on May 11 night. Karki including other cadres was in a discussion in a neighbor's home when some cadre of CPN-UML attacked. Karki sustained a serious injury to his head. 

Vishnu Karki, a candidate for the post of deputy chairman of Gokulganga rural municipality from the CPN (Maoist Center), claimed that UML resorted to attack on Maoist Center leaders and cadres due to the fear of certain loss in the local eleciton.
