Cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) clashed in Aurahi rural municipality-4 of Siraha, on May 12 after Congress cadres accused CPN (Maoist Center) candidate for the post of chairperson of Aurahi rural municipality Siddhartha Yadav of distributing money to voters in ward 4 of the rural municipality. A cadre of Nepali Congress was injured in the clash. Cadres of Nepali Congress and Janata Samajwadi party picketed Yadav who had reached the ward. Police arrested him on the charge of violating election code of conduct.
