Cadres of CPN-UML and Nepali Congress clashed in the polling center at Bulingtar rural municipality-6, Atrauli of Nawalparasi East over a dispute regarding assisting while voting by elderly citizens and persons with disabilities. The polling process started after a short halt. Some have demanded fresh polling.
The situation in most of the polling centers remains peaceful in the district, said Prajwol Maharjan, DSP of District Police Office, Nawalpur.
