Ikchha Tamang, 32, of Manamaiju VDC-1 has lodged a complaint at Women and Children Service Center against her husband Ram Bahadur Gurung, 37, on August 24 accusing him of beating her. The complaint states that her husband has been inflicting physical and mental torture on her since one year. Sushila Pradhan, chief of the WCSC said that a warrant has been issued against the accused he has not come to contact. The couple was married 15 years ago.
