Situation turned tense for a while in Chergaha polling center of Chhipaharmai Rural Municipality-2 due to a fight followed by dispute between CPN-UML candidate Manoj Gupta and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) ward 2 member candidate Dhurandar Sah Kanu. Kanu sustained injury on his nose and ear in the fight according to local.
