A person was injured during a clash between cadre of the ruling coalition  Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN-UML in Khatyad rural municipality-7 on May 14 in vote counting site of Rautadi Bazar. 40-year-old Kali Bahadur Rawal, a cadre of Maoist Center was injured in the clash.

DSP Subhash Hamal of the District Police Office said that he had received information that Rawal was taken to the Primary Health Center in Ratapani for treatment. He further added that clash took place after UML cadres sought revenge for reported attack on their cadres by Rawal and others previously.
