Rup Bahadur Rokaya, a Nepali Congress candidate for Chandannath municipality-7 of Jumla has been accused of physically assaulting his cadres Kumar Bikram Shahi and Kamal Bohora of Chandannath municipality-8 on May 15. The victims alleged that Rokaya, physically assaulted them accusing them of not voting for him. Bikram Shahi sustained injury in the assault.

According to the complaint lodged, the accused called them to have a discussion and assaulted by taking them inside the house.
