Sindhupalchok, Dwanda ma chadiyeko saket bomb fela. A socket bomb abandoned during the armed conflict has been recovered from Gairiganu road of Sitapokhare VDC-4 on August 24. The bomb was spotted and informed to the police by a local Bikram Tamang. It has been defused by a bomb disposal unit of Gorakh Nath Battalion from Chautara, said DSP Bharat Bahadur Bohara. DSP Bohara said that the improvised explosive device had gathered rust and it must have be abandoned during the armed conflict. The socket bomb is six inch long and three inch wide, according to district police office. The locals were terrorized by the incident, said police.
