Cadres of CPN (Maoist Center) physically assaulted Mitrabandhu Sinjali, newly elected ward chairperson of Bhimphedi rural municipality-7 of Makawanpur on May 15. The CPN (Maoist Center) assaulted Sinjali accusing him of betraying the electoral alliance between Congress and Maoist Center and cooperating with CPN-UML to defeat Maoist Center's candidate.
