MELAMCHI, AUG 27 - Three members of a single family died and another one has gone missing in landslide at Balde of Mahankal VDC-6 in Sindhupalchowk district early this morning. The deceased have been identified as Dil Bahadur Tamag, 33, his 12-year-old daughter Alisa and five-year-old son Prashant, said Sub-Inspector at the Area Police Office, Melamchi , Bishnu Shrestha. Similarly, the missing is Man Bahadur Tamang, 75, and search for him was underway, added Shrestha. A local Sancha Tamang said that the landslide occurred at 2:30 am today also damaged Gyalthum tunnel of the Melamchi Drinking Water Project.
