Police arrested Choplal Oli, 25, and Surendra Rokaya, 21, of Darma rural municipality-2 in Salyan on May 24, on the charge of physically assaulting neighbor Tilak Oli of Darma rural municipality-2. According to the police, the accused physically assaulted the victim for voting for for CPN (Maoist Center) instead of Nepali Congress. Police further added that they are looking for Nischal Oli and Chin Bahadur Rokaya who were also involved in the incident. Maoist Center won most seats including chairperson, deputy chairperson and ward chairpersons in local election in Darma rural municipality.
