Students unions affiliated to the ruling and opposition parties picketed the office of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) in Kathmandu against the hike of petroleum product price on May 25. The demonstrators demanded to repeal the price hike in petroleum products and demanded the resignation of the director of NOC. The NOC increased the price of the petroleum products for the 2nd time in one week.
