CPN-UML's student wing ANNSFU staged a torch rally in Ilam, on May 25 against the price hike of petroleum products. The demonstrators demanded to repeal the price hike of petroleum products and foods items. The leader of ANNSFU Milan Khatri said that they would continue to demonstrate until their demands are met. He further alleged that the price of petroleum products didn't only increase but the price of all consumer goods also increased. The demonstrators laid the motorcycle as a symbolic demonstration.
