Saptari/August 31 The district court has slapped life sentence with confiscation of property to the then dialogue team members of Jantantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha Amarendra Goit, 33, of Trikol VDC and Surendra Goit Yadav, 31, of Trikol VDC-5 on August 31. According to shrestedar Nabaraj Dulal of the district court, judge Tej Narayan Paudel issued the verdict deciding that the two had shot dead Jharilal Kusiyat Yadab, 60, of Lohajara VDC-2 after abduction on November 17, 2008. The court also slapped 3 years sentence each to Shiva Narayan Yadav, 30, of Lohajara VDC-2, Jogendra Marik Yadav alias Jogiya, 33, Birendra Gurmaita Yadav, 31, of Lohajara VDC-4, Rabi Marik, 65, Satya Narayan Yadab, 34, of Lohajara VDC-6 and Nagreshwor Giri, 27, of Dandha VDC-5. Umesh Ram, 28, of Mohanpur VDC-3 has been acquitted while the case against absconding JTMM commander Jay Prakash Yadav and Rameshwor Biraji has been put on hold.
