Police arrested Aetraj Limbu on the charge of murder of his father Birkha Bahadur Limbu and mother Fiparani Limbu of Phaktanglung rural municipality-6 of Taplejung on May 5. Aetraj confessed to murdering his father and other in a Khukuri attack while under the influence of alcohol. He further said that since his father and mother were against his inter-caste marriage, he used to have an argument over the same issue. He alleged that his parents used to discriminate against him and his wife because she belonged to a different caste. 

Bhim Bahadur Limbu, brother of Aetraj lodged the complaint of murder against his brother. According to Bhim Bahadur Aetraj used to give death threats to his parents during dispute with them.
