Two youth, Dilli Raj Khanal of ward no. 5 and Babu Roka Magar from ward number 4 of Lamahi municipality started a hunger strike since May 26, against the price hike of petroleum products and cooking gas. They are sitting on hunger strike near the buspark in Lamahi.
The mayor and vice-mayor of the municipality urged them to quit the hunger strike by visiting the protest site on May 29. The health condition of both is stable, as of May 29.
