Police recovered dead body of 50 year old Tulshi Shrestha in the drainage on the bank the road at Katahari-1 Maheshpur of Morang district on May 29. The dead body had injuries on the forehead and scalp region. 

The deceased was missing since the night on May 28. Police have identified and arrested 33 year old Rabin Bhujel, 29 year old Kapil Majhi of Katahari-1, and 28 year old Nitesh Chaudhary of Katahari-3, as potential perpetrators. 

The trio met the deceased on the way, with deceased under the influence of alcohol and making loud noise, during the night on May 28. They hit the 50 year old man with bamboo logs and stones, upon his refusal to stay quiet.  Police also recovered the bamboo log that was used in the incident.
